    I agree with Andre when he says at each concert, If only the world would listen to music rather than make war. Listening to Andre's joyful music always makes me smile.

    If only.............

      I've found, that if you keep a song in your heart, there's not much room for the negatives.

    Joan Leavitt responding. Indeed. Lets say our prayers for Andre and his family, the JSO and the entire crew and staff that God speed and keep them all safe from harms way.

    Sally, you know, I think that is one of the many things that has impressed me so very much with Andre, is when I first saw that Christmas dvd where he says he could never understand why all wars cease on Christmas, if they can do that for one day, then why not all year? And that people should make music not war. Right then and there, I wanted to make Andre President of America, and of the world. If Andre, and the average person can see this, then why not the leaders of the world?? I do not understand.

    I tend to be a very positive person, I try not to think of anything negative, especially with those I know and love and admire...including family, friends, and those like Andre who are truly good people. But,I am human and I DO worry.

    So Andre and the JSO and their loved ones, have my thoughts and prayers for always being safe! They do so much for people and bring so much happiness to everyone they "touch" with their beautiful music. I will believe that God has a special hand on them and that they will always be under his wing. May they always be allowed to bring such happiness to this world who loves their music so very much.

      Hi Marlene:

      I would like to take credit, but this isn't my Entry.  There are 2 Moderators on this site, Bill in Arizona and Lawrence in Louisiana.

      They help me as I cannot manage all of this alone.  It's quite a large task.

      This was posted by Bill.  He's been busy lately but I'm happy to see him here and yes, it is a good post.  We all need to pray for each other and the safety of Andre and our world.

        Thanks Sally for setting me straight on who to give credit to. I'm sorry I didn't see Bill's name and just assumed you had put this up. It's very good Bill, thanks so much. I haven't "seen" or heard of you lately. Too bad we all have to be so busy! In fact I haven't heard of Lawrence in Louisiana if a while either. Thanks for all everyone does on this site. It's really quite interesting, fun and enoyable, informative and makes one think.

    Hello Ladies,
    Everytime I pray, I try to pray for Andre and his crew, (along with my dreams and wishes, of course). Ohhh, if everyone made at least a little music in this chaosic world, there would be less war. I will keep that in my prayers.
    love,
    Sarah

      It is something how little things bring a prayer to my mind.  The twins that were just separated.  I said a silent prayer for their safety and recovery.  There are people I know, I've prayed for their sanity.   And yes, for the world that we find peace.

      There is a great site, it is from the Nederlands, some of the photos from war..they are the best quailty I have seen, but as always,......war is brutal.

    The Serenity Prayer

    God grant me the serenity
    to accept the things I cannot change;
    courage to change the things I can;
    and wisdom to know the difference.
    Living one day at a time;
    Enjoying one moment at a time;
    Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace;
    Taking,as He did, this sinful world
    as it is, not as I would have it;
    Trusting that He will make all things right
    if I surrender to His Will;
    That I may be reasonably happy in this life
    and supremely happy with Him
    Forever in the next.
    Amen

      This prayer brings back so many memories for me. My husband used to quote it to me all the time. I am known to get a little uptight at times...I'm working on it ...this prayer is excellent. Thanks

    just read this in the news..."AMSTERDAM, Netherlands - Dutch F-16s escorted a Northwest Airlines flight bound for India back to Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport on Wednesday after the pilot radioed an unspecified security alarm, and authorities questioned some of the passengers, officials said". So.....maybe we should get serious about praying for the safety of Andre & crew.It is a serious thing anymore when you can't even travel anywhere without a threat of terrorism.

    hello ladies and gentlemen!
    Even though I'm only 14, and my words might not mean anything to anyone, but, I think we shouldn't ever take God out of the Pledge of Allegiance.
