André is born under the sign of Libra as his parents’ third child. His parents and their two young daughters had moved from Amsterdam to Maastricht shortly before. (André later got two brothers and another sister). To the present day, André Rieu has been at home in the beautiful capital of the Dutch Province of Limburg, namely in Maastricht.

Kati, Andre's Birthday is October 1, 1949.  Happy 57! to our Maestro who has the energy of someone 27!

I am a fan of Andre Rieu. His music is sensational. I don't know if there is going to be a reception after or before the Phila. concert. I have e-mailed him if there is a chance that I could meet him on April 14.

Welcome to AndreRieuFans.com Blog Marian:  I hope your wish comes true.

A few things to remember about concerts:

Arrive Early - Get to the venue as soon as you can.  You will be amazed who you might meet.  Ask Andrea & Michael Barfoot who met Frank prior to the concert,
Dorlie who is like a magnet and meets everyone, Iris who meets so many JSO & Guests  or our own Moderator Bill Cole who met many people outside the venue in Phoenix.

Stay until the End, and be one of the Last to Leave.  Again, you never know who will come walking in the crowd.  Just ask
Dorlie who saw Frank (violin & carollins) and Bela.

A VERY HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU AND GOD BLESSES YOU ALWAYS...YOUR CHARM AND TALENT SEEPED THROUGH THE STRINGS OF YOUR INSTRUMENTS AND WIT ARE IMMORTALIZED IN ME AND EVERY FAN of this UNIVERSE! I wonder if the extra-terrestrials can HEAR YOU? HUH??? Can you charm them somehow? Ha! Ha!

I'm planning to visit Neuschwanstein Castle which is somewhere in Bavaria, then I saw your concert in Regensburg but I don't know how far this is from the castle? I might attend if I know my way around and have time. I've attended 2 of your past concerts, one in VIRGINIA and one in TEXAS and they were great. The one in VA was near my place which was great, the one in Texas, I had to fly out there! But since I'll be in Europe this Thanksgiving week...I'll see.

Again May God Blesses you Always...BEST WISHES AND MANY MORE! I love Dutch Gouda cheese too! SMILE....CHEESE!
