Optimist Creed
The Optimist Creed
Promise Yourself-
To be so strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.
To talk health, happiness and prosperity to every person you meet.
To make all your friends feel that there is something in them.
To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.
To think only of the best, to work only for the best, and to expect only the best.
To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.
To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you meet a smile.
To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others.
To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear, and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.

I'm not 100% by a long shot, but I do try.
Hello Dear Fans,
Oh, this poem is beautiful. I'm not a perfect angel, but people say that I do, laugh a lot. I guess it's one of my faults. Oh well...(sigh)
love,
Sarah
I have a long way to go but I am trying. It is beautiful and it gives us something to strive for. Love and hugs
great aspirations...i usually aim for the stars...but ending up "repenting" every couple of hours! Lorraine
Always great to see and attempt. Sometimes I like to think of the earth when Jesus walked upon it. How we had this treasure amongst us, yet did not know.
Perhaps today we have treasures. Can we see them?
So, I try. I fail. I try again.
We only fail if we fail to try.
Hi Shirley!
Yes, you're right! I like that term. I'll have to hang it up on my wall to keep me from discouraging.
love,
Sarah
