What is your favorite color?
Mine is, of course, chartreuse; here is everything you ever wanted to know about the color.
True chartreuse is 50% Green, 50% yellow. Now if I can only find out Dan, the Banner Man's T-Shirt size & address, I'll send him a surprise, something that will really make him stand out in a crowd>
Soooooo, what is your favorite color & why?
Interesting choice of topics for the New Year...ok, my favorite of all colors is Blue. I enjoy reds, purples, greens only in various shades of each, but Blue tops my list and always has. Why? I have no idea other than maybe it's the color of a most beautiful sky, or the crystal clean blue of a deep lake or waterway where the sky is lending it's incredible blue. I have so many items that are a cobalt blue, that deep, rich lucious color that goes right to my brain and says "choose me". Blue's are pleasing to the eye and seems to be an extremely calming color for me. It's a color of nature of course. I love the combination of blue and white or a nice light cream color, co-ordinated together. Blue is peaceful and if I have some kind of blue around me, it truly does make me happy. Blue is also, a kind of strong, powerful color, a color of royalty or intelligence. It's always been a color that I feel brings about a "positive" answer, or thought.
Marlene, you took the words right outta my mouth! ditto, everything you said! I love all the cool colors, and, MR BILL, sometimes I mix your, how you spell it?)chartreuse? with my dark blue! so, howd ya like that? In fact, when summer comes I'll send you a picture of me in my hot pink and geen shoes with my pink peddle pushers and my chartreuse t-shirt. How 'bout that???

I hardly can wait! What a taste, Shirley!! I like pastell colors, of any kind. Red looks good on me, because my hair is blonde, otherwise, is maroon. All time favorite. Kati
purple and all shades thereof...don't have any purple in my home....nor in my closet...but...my designs...they are usually amythysts, tanzanites, lavendars, alexandrites...so it is purple, purple, purple, purple!

oh...i forgot to tell you why i like purple...and now that i think about it...i really don't know! L.
I love so many colors, mostly warm colors because they make me feel so cozy and warm (since I am always cold). My very favorite color is Apricot. I love yellow and red and lime green. My home is decorated in Apricot with accents of tans and browns in the family room and you will find this hard to believe but Apricot and Red in the kitchen and dining room. The colors are stunning. The dining room has some yellow mixed with the Apricot and the tablecloth is an orange antique cloth with a little yellow trim and the centerpiece is a combo of all the above colors. The only cool color I love is green which is a pale green in the living room which has accents of robin egg blue and tan. I love the colors because they are the colors of my home.
I do not like blue or pink. The only blue I like is the blue of Andre's eyes!!! I also like light purple. I guess I like the oranges and yellows and red because you can see all these colors in the sunrise and sunset. Hugs
Jeanine Ann, your colors sound absolutely delicious. "cozy, warm" & inviting I'd say. I had an aunt who loved apricot and burnt orange. She was a redhead, are you, by any chance,a redhead? And, what is more beautiful than a gorgeous sunrise or sunset?

hehehe....i love brown .....and all its derivatives, cream, mushroom, cocoa, mocha, champagne, hazelnut, almond, cinnamon, nutmeg, spice, gingerbread, castania, smoke topaz, maple, toffee, coffee, caramel, .....just thinking of brown makes me hungry....L
Brown is a good color as it is another color in nature. I'm happy with it as long as I don't have to wear it
me too Marlene...would never wear brown!...okay, maybe a suede or leather jacket, bag or shoes...but that's it!
but my living room, all brown, sounds boring but it is not, maple floors, light brown sofa, cherry coffee table, brown zebra (what?) area rug (small)...

I really hadn't thought about colors to wear or eat. I guess when I first posed the question I was thinking of colors to wear.

Shirley, I am blonde but that is close to red I guess! That is a real good question about God's sunset. They are just gorgeous in Florida. We would sit on the beach right before sunset and it was so nice and warm watching the beautiful sun go down. Never saw the green flash though. I always liked taking photos of the sunset. Hugs

I like all colors. God made each and every color beautiful....I'm thankful for that!!!! But...the color that really stands out to me is...pink. Any pink, it doesn't matter, as long as it's pink. My room is pink, and I never get tired of it. But don't worry...my closet is not all pink. My closet holds the entire rainbow!!! Jeanine, I always imagined you as a sweet, wise lady, that always has ideas, advice, help, etc. (Along with all of our other dear fans)

TREES!! I love trees. All of the green in nature is just beautiful to me.

Howdy Ya'll. This is the one arm ANDRE FAN from Texas! Been a long time since I visited with ya'll! Been busy. Well, folks . . . it's like this . . . a couple weeks before Christmas my best friend, Anna, passed away and is now in a better place!! Some of you Friends and Fans already know this . . . let me take this opportunity to say a BIG THANK YOU to all that sent cards and for all your prayers!
We introduced Anna to Andre's music at the 2004 Dallas concert. A few weeks before she died she requested we bring our Andre Christmas DVD's over. I will always cherish those memories of us sitting by her bedside enjoying Andre's music together. THANKS, ANDRE!
We flew to Iowa and put her to rest in a family plot on a hilltop just a couple blocks up from the "Mighty Mississippi" . . . The sun peeked through the huge oak trees and the chilly air was filled with the pleasant aroma of a nearby fireplace burning. Just the kind of day Anna would have loved. She would have enjoyed listening to the rustling of the crisp leaves underfoot also, as we did.
We flew back to Dallas on a Saturday . . . took out the warm clothes in the suitcase and replaced with clothes suitable for Florida. Arrived in Ft. Lauderdale Monday. Spent Christmas with our Portugal family. This is where "my favorite colors" comes in. Like many of you, I love many colors. But, the beautiful blue of the ocean is hard to beat. We had a great time wading along the shore. Welllll . . . until I hear the grandchildren yelling for me to watch out for the HUGE wave coming. This 'ol gal started backing up (dumb idea) and I fell down backwards as the wave covered me. Never laughed so hard in my life!! . . . until I realized the pain I was having in my right wrist was real. Broke it in two places but will be fine. Brings me to another of my favorite colors, purple . . the color of my full arm cast! My navy blue outfit soon became brown with sand and this 69 year old grandma could feel her face turning red with embarrassment! Such colorful memories, indeed!!

Barb, so good to hear from you again. That was a beautiful story about Anna. I am so sorry, I didn't know about her. Sorry too about your wrist. I have been lucky all my life - never broke a bone, just tore ligament in ankle and pulled muscle in back, dumb things I did life lifting beds!
