They are beautiful Sally - thank you!
Sally, woldn't be nice , to be there? Thanks for the pictures! Kati
Hi Sally and friends, Did you get these two new pics from the webcam at the Vjihorf? I went to the cam a couple of times but alas only saw hundreds of people sitting in their chairs. Every time someone puts up a picture or a link to pictures about AR, you can be sure I'll see them. Robert, your creations are so professional and thank you for sharing. Those of us in Arizona are pretty much doing the "siesta" thing. Except for the chartruese mountain goat that's been sited in the Phoenix area. Pierre does play the trumpet and that is him in the photo. I think he would like to play more but probably has too much to do keeping up with his day job. I do think of everyone almost every day as I read all the entries. Had some computer trouble last month. With this site, you can't miss more than one day or you could be lost in cyberspace for days. Thanks for all the info and fun things.....and Bill !!! spell running with two nn's and stay out of the sun. Chat later friends, stay well and hug someone every day, Barb
Hi Barb, those are shots of the Vrijthof. And they are now cleaning it up. Pierre has his crew working dilligently on the cleaning, and it is going well.
Wasn't the web cam neat? I saved a few of these pictures too, just to use as an occasional desktop picture.
That is a nice shot of the cleanup Sally. I took so many photos all during the three concerts that I don't know how many I have. I should say I downloaded them. Maybe I will make a DVD if I have enough. Hugs
Hi Barb,it has been hot where you are for sure."CHARTRUESE MOUNTAIN GOAT"? haha, love that one!
Jeanine Ann
Jeanine Ann, this is beautiful. Is this a hibiscus? I have a bush too, maybe I'll try to get a shot or two.
No Shirley, it is a Clematis. This is a new shade. We also have a "sweet Autumn Clematis" which gets all white blooms in the fall. Hugs
It's a beauty. I have some that color as well. Actually I have seven clematis vines in my garden.
duh me! I now see it. I used to have a clematis several years back. The planter I had it in is no longer. I should try to grow these again.
Inge Cossette
Inge that is just beautiful. You are so talented. Thank you for sharing.
Hugs

Katie in San Diego
What a cute shot of a very cute girl! She looks sweet.
New photos going up tonight.
Sally, i this your daughter???? She is so cute! Too bad they grow up, but we still have the pictures!
Yes, Jeanine Ann this is a Clematis, I have the same one and also a dark red one and a royal blue one, that one is blooming nice this year, the same one as yours has so far only 3 flowers.
The guy with the camera on me, is Pierre, in the concert on May l2, in Montréal, Inge
Hi Inge, I thought that was Pierre but wasn't sure. That is so cute with the camera pointed at you while you were taking a picture of him. Thanks for sharing that. Hugs
Al Girard
After a hard day's work, just sitting outside seeing the flowers and all the green...Ahhhhhhhhhh
Here I am imagining.
Al Girard
I think, You are busy with so many flowers on Your yard? It is very beautiful to look at! Thanks for sharing Al! Kati
Your yard is so beautiful Al! I love it, and can only wish that someday my yard will look as beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
Yes, I would not mind moving in Al´s backyard, my cats would love that, too, haaaaaaa! What a beautiful garden, you must have a green thumb.
absolutely stunning! Al, are you for hire? I've got a 75x100 space for you to work your magic in! With a back yard like that, I'd never want to come in.
Al your garden is absolutely beautiful! What a nice place to sit and relax and listen to the birds and admire the lovely flowers. Hugs
MONSTER
I couldn't resist. I bought
Monster a new bed. When she saw it she smiled and jumped in and out of it.
Then she started kneading the pillow and laid down. She loves her new bed.
Monster is very pretty Sally. Her eyes are beautiful! Isn't it cute when they get a new bed or you do something nice for them, like fluff their pillow or whatever, and they appreciate it so much.
Thanks Jeanine Ann & Marlene. Yes our babies love anything we do for them. With Monster it was funny, she saw me take her 'cushion' away and it bothered her a bit, but when she saw me place the bed in 'her spot', well she was beside herself with happiness. She immediately knew it was a new bed for her. Our little fur babies are so adorable.
These animals, really talking to us! Right? Kati
Oh Sally, Monster is gorgeous! I love her at first sight. Those beautiful eyes! I am so glad she likes the new bed. I know some kitties do not like new things. She is one lucky cat to have such a wonderful mom. Hugs
Jeanine Ann Introduces: Sylvia
This is Sylvia, a kitty we just adopted through the ASPCA.
Isn't she beautiful!!
Oh Jeanine Ann, How Beautiful. I can see in her eyes she is happy to have found a home where she is loved.
Oh these lucky kitties, to have found such wonderful people to love them. Sally, how did you come to name your kitty Monster? And Jeanine Ann, Sylvia is gorgeous! When I see these beauties, whether it be cats, dogs, horses, whatever, I just want to stroke them with love!
Shirley Kirk ~~ JAZZ in IRIS
Oh Shirley, what a little beauty. I just love that photo! Hugs to you both
Elegant JAZZ
Lorraine ~~ My Guys
...Peekie and Ollie with me...
...Peekie Ollie and Sam on the deck...
Lorraine, I love that you put your doggies on here!Peekie& Ollie, two beauties, as well as the lady holding them! and Sam just looks so wise and laid back.
Shirley...thanks. They're my babies alright. Sam is 12 and very very very laid back. In fact she lays on her back all the time waiting for a belly-rub! The other two are characters, both boys who look like girl...they have me in laughter and smiles with their antics. Glad to see Jazz, Monster, Sylvie and all the animals. Thank God for our pets! Love, L
Hi Lorraine, what a bunch of cuties. I am so glad you shared your babies with us. In fact I am glad to see what you look like. In that photo you remind me of my grandmother Norma when she was younger. She was beautiful and was my favorite. Hugs
thanks janine. love my babies...and thank you for the compliment. not a flattering photo of moi ....but all i have at the moment with the doggies...all my good pix were on my crashed computer ...irretrievable, i'm afraid!
Lorraine, i love Your Pooches! Very adorable, I am crazy about Dogs also. I have to show my Centa! Kati
Oh Lorraine I just adore your babies. Sam looks so lovable. I want to hug her (and pat her belly) Ollie & Peekie are cute. So much love and fun in one curly package!
oppps should have said TWO curly packages!
My Dad had a white poodle named Doodles. He loved that dog. Actually bought him a leather recliner in miniture to match his. After dinner he would say, "Doodles, do you want to go watch tv with Daddy?" And he and the dog would go for an hour of tv. Side by side they would sit, my dad talking to Doodles as if he was one of the kids. My Dad wouldn't go to bed until he hugged Doodles goodnight.

My Favorite Tree
I have to tell you about this tree. It started out as a smaller table tree. Each year I try to do a theme tree.I was really just going for a victorian look and it was to be an "extra". One day my daughter came by and said"Mom, that's your André tree"! And so it became my André tree, only now it is growing, it's a work in progress as I try to collect more & more violins. A picture doesn't really do it justice as it is beautiful when lit with the star lights etc. Maybe one of these days it won't look so sparse.
Sally ~ Fun at the Fair
I had asked some coworkers how to take photos of moving objects. One man who dabbled in photography was very helpful. He had me bring the manual 35 mm camera to work, showed me some of the settings to use and explained about Depth of Field, foot stops and things like that, which I didn't then or now understand.
I went to the fair, did my best to follow the instructions and ended up with the above photo. When I took it to work to show my coworker, he said, "Hey that's a great first try. How did you get this"? (as if I knew!)
I love this picture! and in my younger days I loved this ride!
I like that photo Sally. Reminds me of when I was a little more daring! Hugs
sally, the photo looks great...i tried to take one in the rain the other day like Al's ...my photo came out with spots on it like "summersnow"...i think i get another try tomorrow we are to get more rain....keep up the good work...btw, Monstrously beautiful is Monster!L
Katie McCourt
The first picture is entitled "Presidential Press Conference" - As you can see, these gulls look rather like press reporters occasionally do when they are asking the President tough questions.
looks like it might be Helen Thomas and Sam Donaldson........
My thought exactly! They must have really had the great man backed into a corner...........................
Shirley I think you have that right!
I like You humor Shirley, yes there is a very close resemblance! Kati
Katie McCourt
This photo is one that I took over my shoulder when I spotted these two cats out of the corner of my eye as I was taking pictures at a horse show.
They look so serene.
awwwwwwwwwwh........how cute. Stable life can be good!
Indeed, so...also, quite, well, stable..................
They do enjoy life, don't thay? Kati
Oh Katie they are so cute and they look very comfy. They remind me of the two sleeping cats on Andre's video - think it was Cortona. I wish every kitty could have it so good. Hugs
Hi Jeanine Ann - I know of several who do...and they all live in Pennsylvania, Missouri and California!!
Katie
Jeannine Anne, how nice of you to adopt kitties from the SPCA, mine are all collected from the streets. Nice picture of kitties, Shirley's dogs, Sally´s girls, the Xmas tree and the see gals, the cats at the horse show, aren´t cats the best photo objects?
All these kitties with electrical expertise!! Turning on fax machines and electric potty boxes...all mine can do is simple things like burying my car keys and cell phone in the potty box!! He needs training!!!
Yes Inge, cats make a great photo op. They get into all kinds of positions not to mention on dining room tables and every place else they should not be. My cat Patches sleeps on top of the printer (an all-in-one) and one night we awoke to a noise and she had turned on the fax and the machine was trying to send a fax. It was so funny but we must make sure the printer isn't always turned on. Of course I have a picture of her sleeping there!
Shirley - I love that tree. I am starting to look for violin ornaments
Hugs
Jeanine Ann, I have a few scrap books full of kitty pictures, they are now my main objects before it was figure skating of my kids .
My tree has violin ornaments and lots of cats on it and the real cats have also smashed the tree down once and a lot of ornaments were broken. Now I put a spray bottle in front of the tree and show them the first day how the water comes out and they respect the tree, haaaaaaa!

This is a photo of our beautiful Gizmo - aka Gizzie Gorgeous
(and he knows it well!!)
Mother - a beautiful blue point Siamese
Father - any one of the best 10 fellas in the neighborhood who all came calling bearing gifts of gold, frankincense and purr!!
Favorite activities - sleeping, eating and watching Spongebob on tv. He sits transfixed!
He's so shiney you can see your face in him...
Oh Katie, Gizmo is gorgeous! I have never seen such a shiny coat and look at those eyes. You must be very proud of such a beautiful kitty. Bet he is spoiled
Dear Jeanine Ann - Boy, have you got that right!! Just because I hand feed him cooked chicken on demand...this certainly doesn't mean he's spoiled - much!! He does have beautiful eyes but when you look in them you see that the lights are on and nobody's home...if you look in his right ear you can see the wall on the left side!!
But he's adored by all!
Katie
Hi Inge, aaah the spray bottle, I remember it well! When we got our kitten Patches we needed it and still do. She has this fascination for the dining room table so I have a hard time keeping the table cloth nice. But I just remove the hair and go on with life
What a beautiful creature! Looks like silk ebony. I'd sure like to have some shampoo that did that for my hair! Of course I don't have black hair so it probably wouldn't matter. Gizmo is shining!
I always wanted a black cat, never got one, because I felt sorry for ones that came to my door half starved to death, Gizmo is beautiful. Jeanine Ann, good thing my friends all have lots of cats and understand the things we put up with. We have now 3 left and when we sit outside, our cats take the best seats and we have to go in the sun, haaaaaaaaaa! Vic and I even split our holidays so one can stay home with the cats, I would not put them in a kennel. I went in May and June and Vic goes in September- October.
Inge that is wonderful of you to split your vacation to take care of the kitties. I would not put them in a kennel either. Luckily I have a sis who just lives a few streets away and she takes care of them just like we would. I understand about the seating arrangements at your home. They take the best seats and we take what is left.
Off to bed at 10 to 11 eastern time.
Hugs
I have a sign up over the cats' beds that says, "If you want the best seat in the house, ask the cat to move." So true. Kati, Centa is such a beautiful dog - she's grinning from ear to ear at you for taking her picture. She looks regal............
Katie
Isn't that the truth! I can't tell you the number of times, I have wanted to move or turn over at night but waited until Monster was off the bed so I would not disturb her.
Here is my beautiful
! Centa !
She is a Riot, Head of this Household! Kati
Kati, Centa is smiling at you. I can hear her thinking, That's my mommy and I love her so much. She is happy just to look at you!
What a beautiful dog.
Thanks Sally, to put Centa's picture up! She is My Beauty, like a baby, relies on me, never leave my site, all day. I guess, She does not want me to leave Her! She is talking to me, when all perked up, ready to play, demanding! She is checking everything I do! Keep an eye on me!? HAHAHA Kati
Centa is so beautiful! I love shepherds so much. I've had four in my life and loved them all. Maybe someday I'll be able to have another one. Thanks for sharing Kati, you must be proud of her.
Hi Marlene, yes I do love Her very much. She is a great companion! Kati
Kati, Centa is just beautiful. I love the way she smiles at you. You can tell she loves you. What a nice friend to have. Thanks for sharing her.
Hugs
It would be lonely without Her, got used to be around almost 11 years now. She is slower, more arthritis pain, depending how many sqyirrels coming to Out yard? She is playful daily, keep me in check, that is for sure! Kati
Kati, I know your Centa has been a very loyal friend to both you & your husband. She is lucky to have found you for her family.
You know Shirley, all animals are talking to us, larger, or smaller they are, they have their own language towards us, make sure, they get what they do want. Centa is very spoiled, always been, always need special attention, no other animals around Her, unless You count Me in?? Kati
Jeanine Ann
THIS IS PATCHES
THE YOUNGEST IN THE FAMILY AT 5 YEARS OLD.
SHE LOVES TO SLEEP ON THE FAX MACHINE.
They have their eye on something, and that is theirs! Right? They are at home! Beautiful Cat! Kati
aaawwww............we used to have a Patches, years ago. My daughter carried her over her arm like a limp rag, but kitty never minded, of course she was also calico.
Patches is a very beautiful cat Jeanine Ann, such beautiful coloring and she seems so sweet.
Thank you Kati and Shirley. Patches loves this spot. I guess I did tell you she turned it on one night while we were asleep and the machine tried to send a fax. My husband heard the noise and turned it off. She always jumps on my lap at breakfast and dinner and stays there while I eat. It is a little difficult to manage but I hate to move her. They all have different habits. I think a lot of Calicos are named Patches. I will get a photo of Honi next. Hugs
Jeanine Ann
This is Honi our oldest at 17 years.
We found her in a pet shop on Valentine's Day and she has been
our sweet Valentine ever since that day!
Jeanine Ann, Honi is BEAUTIFUL. I love her eyes. I wish I could hug her. She is just adorable.
Thank you Sally. I think we picked her because she had big beautiful eyes and long ears (at the time) and I have more photos of her pretty eyes which I am putting into scrapbooks. Hugs
