Hi Sally and friends, Did you get these two new pics from the webcam at the Vjihorf? I went to the cam a couple of times but alas only saw hundreds of people sitting in their chairs. Every time someone puts up a picture or a link to pictures about AR, you can be sure I'll see them. Robert, your creations are so professional and thank you for sharing. Those of us in Arizona are pretty much doing the "siesta" thing. Except for the chartruese mountain goat that's been sited in the Phoenix area. Pierre does play the trumpet and that is him in the photo. I think he would like to play more but probably has too much to do keeping up with his day job. I do think of everyone almost every day as I read all the entries. Had some computer trouble last month. With this site, you can't miss more than one day or you could be lost in cyberspace for days. Thanks for all the info and fun things.....and Bill !!! spell running with two nn's and stay out of the sun. Chat later friends, stay well and hug someone every day, Barb

Thanks Jeanine Ann & Marlene.  Yes our babies love anything we do for them.  With Monster it was funny, she saw me take her 'cushion' away and it bothered her a bit, but when she saw me place the bed in 'her spot', well she was beside herself with happiness.  She immediately knew it was a new bed for her.  Our little fur babies are so adorable.

My Dad had a white poodle named Doodles.  He loved that dog.  Actually bought him a leather recliner in miniture to match his.  After dinner he would say, "Doodles, do you want to go watch tv with Daddy?"  And he and the dog would go for an hour of tv.  Side by side they would sit, my dad talking to Doodles as if he was one of the kids.  My Dad wouldn't go to bed until he hugged Doodles goodnight.

    My Favorite Tree

I have to tell you about this tree. It started out as a smaller table tree. Each year I try to do a theme tree.I was really just going for a victorian look and it was to be an "extra". One day my daughter came by and said"Mom, that's your André tree"! And so it became my André tree, only now it is growing, it's a work in progress as I try to collect more & more violins. A picture doesn't really do it justice as it is beautiful when lit with the star lights etc. Maybe one of these days it won't look so sparse.

I had asked some coworkers how to take photos of moving objects.  One man who dabbled in photography was very helpful.  He had me bring the manual 35 mm camera to work, showed me some of the settings to use and explained about Depth of Field, foot stops and things like that, which I didn't then or now understand.

I went to the fair, did my best to follow the instructions and ended up with the above photo.  When I took it to work to show my coworker, he said, "Hey that's a great first try.  How did you get this"?   (as if I knew!)

Yes Inge, cats make a great photo op. They get into all kinds of positions not to mention on dining room tables and every place else they should not be. It was so funny but we must make sure the printer isn't always turned on. Of course I have a picture of her sleeping there!
