The MAGIC of Andre Rieu...yes, it says a lot does it not? How many times has this magic of Andre taken us from depression to happiness, from sadness to pleasure? From intolerance to compassion and from dislike to understanding and acceptance? As for me, I have to say an untold number of times. Why? It's hard to put a finger on it, but it's there.
I feel that the beauty of the music goes into our hearts and souls and can only come out as love and peace.
Those who truly love Andre Rieu and his beautiful, incredible music, tolerate life and can grow the way we are meant to, in accepting people and the lessons of life.
Everyday of my life I see irritation and anger, stress and misery...and then I reach for a special cd of Andre that I have burned songs that I know will touch that part of me that forgets all the unhappy things, for just one moment in life, and fills it with the music that goes directly to my soul and brings peace.
These words that Andre has said, that "the waltz is a combination of joy and melancholy" is probably one of the many reasons that I love his music so much. And I know that this music has been around a very long time, however, Andre Rieu gives his personal touch to it and this "touch" brings out the life and feeling in the music like no one else I've ever heard.
So...the MAGIC of Andre Rieu, IS special and if all people could apply this to their lives there would be a lot more happy, tolerant, unselfish, loving people. The music would fill their lives, and dreams would come true because of the peace in their hearts.
Thank you Andre Rieu, you may not ever read this, but if I don't say it, I KNOW you won't...thanks for the beautiful, peaceful, happy music that you put so much LIFE into!
Thanks for adding this Sally...I cannot wait to have this magazine! If only for the words that Andre speaks (he says so much) it's worth it all.

Hi Jeanine Anne, thanks for the note, yes I just adore everything to do with Andre and the JSO, I have never been to a show, but live in hope, I have all the dvd's I have seen in the shops, giving me 21 dvd's and 6 cd's, but keep looking for new ones, so in the meantime I make my own dvd's as a little personnel exercise, my 3 yr old granddaughter just about swoons when she sees him, she has lovely red hair, and blushes putting on her best dress to watch him and strings of beads, Mummy will Andre like me better if I wear a wee bit lippy, she asked, at 3 yrs, its a worry,??

Thank you so much Elly. I finally have read this article and it's a great one. When Andre talks about that special connection, it's really true. It's like one heart connected to another, his heart to ours. I think that is what makes him unique. It's a rare thing at most other concerts to have that special connection.Andre does have a gift that's for sure.

Hi Anne: I find it interesting how so many of us who were born before the invention of the "PC" now have computers in our homes. And when we think about it, our phones are computers, I have a Palm Pilot, a new fancy smancy one and it to...computer. ATM machines? a computer. On and on.

Hi Anne, so nice to hear from you. That is adorable about your daughter. Bet she is so cute all dressed up for Andre. Wish he could see her! I find some DVD's and CD's on Amazon.com and also on the Amazon.fr (France) and also Germany. It is hard if you don't know the language but if you are familiar with the American Amazon you can get by. I am assuming that you are somewhere in Australia.

It is quite beautiful. I do everything on my computer, this blog of course, I backup all my DVD's and CD's, a lot of photo work for my family and lots of photos of Andre, email, etc. I also download a lot of free music. Just found a site called Rhapsody online
www.Rhapsodyonline.com where you can download the player (free) and listen to 25 songs per month of your favorite musician. I think it costs if you want unlimited access.
