This is very exciting Sally. You must be excited...I'm excited! There is so much enthusiasm all over the world when it comes to André! This new ambassasorship is another step in a wonderful progression of making André's music a happy and wonderful part of every household. The logo(?)emblem(?)is wonderful, I really do love it.
You must be very happy to be chosen like this Sally.
You know what Sally? I cannot imagine anyone who I think would be better suited for this position. You are kind, intelligent, compassionate, you seem to always have just the right words to say. You are NOT negative in any way, you are fair, loyal and a good friend.

Dear Sally.. congratulations! Until now, I thought that only Countries and the United Nations had Ambassadors! Mind you, I can see Andre falling into those catogories; his music brings together all peoples of the world. Who thought of 'ambassodorship'? whoever it was, smart move ! I think we will get to know even more his moves & concert details.. well done Sally, you certainly deserve it.. all the many hours, months and years, in putting this web site together for us.. Adele, I AGREE ! Andre would be a great Ambassador. Ambassador for World Peace ~ Andre Rieu. I think he would be great. So many people come together via his beautiful music.

well, I can play piano a bit, and am ploughing through Andre's sheet music book , ' La Vie Est Belle'.. even my 'husband says my versions of 'Waves of the Danube' and Nun's Choir, are good! And I am by profession an orgainzer.. being a tour driector.. who knows, maybe one day I can help also to promote Andre..
HOWEVER, Sally, since you are Ms Ambassador, Andre has to be a King..! 'King of Bringing Beautiful Music to the People'.. but one of you will think of a better title (but he has to be a King!)King of ........ ?!

I am bringing materials with me and I am certain someone as nice as yourself would be an asset to Andre.
Just a quick thought. Our local Barnes & Noble carries lots of André's CDs, so he must be more popular than we realize.
I am always amazed at how many they have. They also have many DVDs of course.
I have a B&N story. I was reading a new book I had just purchased, when an annoying song was being played over and over and over. Finally a couple next to me , yes we were drinking our starbucks, asked a worker in the store, to change the 'record' as it was skipping.
The worker asked them what they enjoyed and they said.. Andre Rieu! So Andre Rieu it was.
That is a neat story, Sally, just the kind of thing I would expect to find in B&N
That's a real nice story Sally. Thanks for sharing. B&N is one of my favorite hang-outs, the one at Lloyd Center Mall has an incredible music area. I always check André's music of course. They always tell me that André is very popular!

I was so happy when they contacted me, until then I did not know this was in the works, in fact, no one did. Now that I have communicated with them I am happy to have the materials and be ready to spread the joy that is Andre Rieu.

Hi Judith, thank you so kindly, but I can honestly say, it is ALL of us that are a tribute to Andre. There is no one person who knows more, or is more important to Andre. Andre loves all his Fans the same. I've never seen him treat anyone different. And I think that's a credit to him.
If you are going to concerts next season, perhaps you too can join the Andre Rieu Denon Ambassadors. It is a North American group. I think those who show the goodness and professionalism of Andre Rieu, adapting his kind ways as their own, would make Great Ambassadors.
It is everyone working together that makes a difference. (and I'll take the hug, I could always use them)

wow i put an application in to be an ambassitor but i have not heard anything beack from them has anyone else heard anything back yet???
Hi Jeff, several of us have applied to be André Ambassasors. Sally was our first. They are sending the kits according to the concerts you will be attending so those attending concerts this October have received their materials. I suppose those attending December concerts will be next.

Hi fellow André Fans, I would love to jump on this program to glee-fully pass on the André "magic". Not that "I" need any prodding.......I am over the moon for this entire THINK RIEU program. Do any of you "lucky" Ambassador's have a "teaser" look at a flyer/catalog? and as Sally and Jeanine Ann know me by now, even a scrap of paper will keep me happy for one week. I am re-arranging my room, and of course you know what CD is pleasantly playing in the back ground, "he" gives me energy......enough, thanks for listening. Happily cleaning-on-a-cloud !
