Denon Records presents a 2-cd Collector's Edition of the PBS TV show "André Rieu in Wonderland," featuring PBS' #1 musical star, André Rieu. This Limited Edition contains 27 delightful melodies, including 6 not heard on the PBS TV show. Rieu's magical new television special is one that grandparents and grandchildren can share together! André Rieu takes listeners to a land of fairies, elves, princesses and knights, where everyone lives happily ever after! Recorded at Efteling, one of the world s most beautiful fairy-tale theme parks, this musical extravaganza is performed by Rieu, his Johann Strauss orchestra and choir and some fantastic soloists from the Ballet of The Vienna State Opera, The International Dance Theatre, and The Berlin Folk-Music Sparrows.

“André Rieu in Wonderland” is also available on DVD from Denon Records.

André Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra have performed throughout Europe, in North America, and Japan. They have won a number of awards including two World Music Awards and have recordings that have gone Gold and Platinum in many countries around the world. André Rieu plays a 1667 Stradivarius. His repertoire includes a wide range of classical music as well as popular and folk music plus music from famous motion picture sound tracks and theatre musicals. His lively and colorful orchestral presentations have attracted worldwide audiences to classical music.

    Tara's Theme was so beautiful, Carmen and Carla were wonderful as Hansel and Gretel. Brian Dickerson was fabulous, and I too, loved the part where he "magically" changed André into this tiny person, so cute!

    André in Wonderland should be #1 with the enjoyment it gives you and the work that went into putting it together!
