Haaaaaaaaa, the banner man is there, too, like in Montréal and every where else, he must spend millions to see André and André sure gained weight around his belly.

Andre may have gained a little weight but he is still eye-candy!!! If all middle aged men looked like this, middle aged women would be very very happy!

Kate, I totally agree with you. And he can play beautiful music, is handy around the house and can cook!! What more could a woman want?!

    Steve & Trang-
Looks like you had a great time at the concert- thanx sharing your pix! Might I suggest that next year you make a pledge to Maryland Public Televsion to get closer to the action, as that's how to get the best seats. I worked the event on behalf of MPT, and was given a 7th row seat...I even spotted myself in your little video clip getting boinked in the head by a yellow balloon! I almost felt guilty taking up such a prized seat. Amazing the amount of talent on that stage! It really is a whole different show when you're that close to the stage. All of you Andre'-Philes should splurge for a front and center seat for at least one concert!

I love these videos and pictures. We were sitting on the other side of the arena in Long Island so it's nice to see what we missed. Every time the tenors or sopranos performed, André was between us and them so we saw a lot of his back! As for his weight, I saw him last December in Oakland then again last month in Long Island and I didn't see much difference. But then, he could be 300 pounds and bald and I'd still love him. He is just so special.

    Hello All,
You are welcome; it was our pleasure
    to share.
    To KATHY: cannot go to main floor;

    suggestion.

      Trang & Steve-
You raise a very good point- there should be a special section down on the floor for people with "wheelchair issues". I helped a few lovely ladies with their walkers, but I don't remember seeing any wheelchairs down on the floor. I'll bring this up to people at the station,as it's not fair to deny floor seating to anyone who wants be in the line of fire for the big "balloon drop"! I hope that you will be able to be front and center at his next Baltimore concert!

        HELLO KATHY,
So glad you will forward wheelchair suggestion to PBS-MPT [Balto MD] Powers-That-Be -- Thanks. Then the decision, for us and others, will be whether to pay $200 for two tickets on a first come first serve basis vice a whopping $520 for two tickets -- however, it may be a tough fiscal decision for folks on fixed incomes. But at least this will provide an OPTION that may not have been there previously. Thanks again. Trang and Steve

Kathy, Steve, Trang, you all speak the truth! In Seattle, the handicap seating was up front on the right side. First 4 or 5 rows. I was impressed, they had great seats.

I don't recall seeing where the seating was in Dallas, Kansas City, NY, Portland or any of the other cities I've been to. humm wonder where the seats were.

Anyway, it's always a good idea to call the venue & PBS ahead of time to ask the location of this seating. Sometimes there is no difference between buying a ticket/pledge...other times there is a huge difference.

But..as will all concerts, just being there is GREAT and all seats are GOOD.

Thank you for the great photo's Steve and Trang, my PC does not allow me to view the videos, so I miss so much when it comes to that part of viewing; but I sure do get a jolly good time looking at all the wonderful photos. You must have had a really wonderful time. Thanks again. Hugs and more hugs. xoxox

JUDITH - THANKS SO MUCH. I hoped the pix would come out even better, but the low light conditions precluded perfect focus; and we were 20 rows up on a plane very close to the front of the stage.

RE: Streaming Videos. Double Check with Webmaster Sally, but I think she upload the videos compatible with FLASH PLAYER. See if you can download FLASH PLAYER. It should be FREE. And then you should be able to see the vids. They are lighter and brighter than the pix and have a "sound track."

G'day all of Andre's fans. I am going to shake up this Friday morning with a "new" sing-a-long, entitled: "Jesus
Loves Me", an oldie, but with "new" words; so you all know the basic tune. It is quite cute, so read, sing and enjoy. Follow the words............

Jesus loves me, this I know, Though my hair is white as snow, Though my sight is growing dim, Still He bids me trust in Him.
YES, JESUS LOVES ME...YES, JESUS LOVES ME...YES, JESUS LOVES ME FOR THE BIBLE TELLS ME SO.

Though my steps are oh, so slow, With my hand in His, I'll go. On through life, but come what may. He'll be there to the lead the way. ( CHORUS ) .....

Though I am no longer young, I have much which He's begun. Let me serve Christ with a smile, Go with other's the extra mile. ( CHORUS ) .....

When the nights are dark and long, In my heart He puts a song, Telling me in words so clear, "Have no fear, for I am near." ( CHORUS ) .....

When my work on earth is done, And life's victories have been won, He will take me home above, Then I'll understand His love. ( CHORUS ) ......

I love Jesus, does He know? Have I ever told Him so? Jesus loves to hear me say,
That I love Him every day. ( CHORUS )...

HAVE A BLESSED FRIDAY ALL MY DEAR FRIENDS - MAY YOU ALL HAVE PEACE
AND A SONG IN YOUR HEARTS ALL DAY.

HI Shirley, my long lost friend who shares in a good joke every so often. I
loved you calling me a "priceless treasure". But, now ya got me wondering?
Priceless treasure?? I got a lot a ole gold in my fillings, but come on girl, I
am still above ground. Don't they often
        consider priceless treasures after they
finally do dig them up from under ground???, just teasing - I consider the words a "huge" honor. Hope all is well (now, thats a deep subject), I will return with a gem, so put on your
thinking cap. Love, hugs, cheers, smiles

Thank you so much Steve and Trang for sharing your concert with us. I was especially amused at the lady who is dancing, all by herself, in the front of the stage. That's why I love these concerts and each one has a different story.

You are welcome, Shirley. Again, our pleasure to share. If it weren't for Sally the Webmaster's solicitousness [is that a word?], this never would have happened.

Trang, who is quite pure and chaste, asked me about the dancing lady; and
I thought twice, but decided to give Trang my honest opinion: "She was a lady who knew how to have fun and enjoy herself to the max, especially when she was a little TIPSY." After two or three more "songs," some kind gentleman from twenty rows back got up to dance with her so that she would not be alone. The audience roared and clapped with their approval at his kind gesture. Maybe he knew how to have fun to the max also.
    ENJOY, Steve

I love your story about the lady who was dancing by herself. It seems there is always someone to help out, in this case, the man who came to dance with her. I can just picture everyone clapping that he joined her..it must have been a very happy moment.
Sounds like he did know how to have fun!

Thank you Steve and Trang for all your wonderful pictures and videos. I appreciate them as I watch them.

Doesn't everyone look fabulous! As Andre says, "Everyone in the JSO and the singers put all their energy and hard work to ensure we all have a wonderful experience" (something along those lines).

I cannot even imagine doing that practically every day or night with "great enthusiasm" as they all do for us. Oh yes I know there is a pay, but I have to think being on the road and being part of a musical family as they are, it must be more than the $$.

To wrap this up, I looked at Andre's pics and thought WOW! what a classy, gorgeous, handsome man. That Marjorie is one lucky lady!

    Love Much
