Hi all!!! It's been a LONG time since I posted but I decided that this would be a good time to do so. I THINK it's recorded that WEBMOMMY and I share a birthday on Oct. 4th--I WILL ADMIT that this year it's my 57th!!! As per the last couple years, I'll be spending part of my birthday month in Las Vegas, getting to meet two of my OTHER "favorite" men--Siegfried and Roy at our 5th North American Siegfried and Roy Fan Club convention. It's truly HARD to believe that we've been together that long but ALSO that it's been 5 YEARS since the world ALMOST lost Roy Horn. Last year when I saw him and Siegfried, he celebrated his birthday (the day BEFORE MINE) by adding an RV to his collection of cars. IF I CAN, I'll ask if they listen to Andre and his orchestra. I believe one of Roy's favorite lullabies is "Brahm's Lullaby" Take care. Ellen
Hi Ellen, yes it has been a long time, and I think we do remember your birthday being the same as Sally's. Would be great if Siegfried & Roy would like Andre's music.We wish them both well. BTW, don't stay away so long, ya hear?
Thank you Bill for tracking and reminding us of all those important birthdays.
But maybe we also could start to think about the MOST Important birthday of all and could do something special as a group. There are so many really talented people here with so many great ideas.
I'm talking about fast approaching birthday for our Maestro Andre. His B-day is October 3, so there is not that much time left.
Lets put our thinking cups on and come up with something clever.

I am trying to figure out & wondering how the JSO treats their members when 2 or 3 have a birthday on the same day.
Are there separate cakes? Are cakes traditional for a JSO birthday?
Who gets their cake first? Does it go by seniority with the JSO? Does the female get the cake & then the male?
Does the cake go to the person that can play the most musical instruments? Does the oldest get the first cake?
And what about presents? Does everyone chip in for 1 present or are multiple presents the norm?
And who delivers the traditional birthday spanking?
Does André sing Happy Birthday? hmmmm, has anyone ever heard André sing? I wonder if he can sing? Actually, I'm wondering if André can waltz?

I don't know how these questions ended up on the birthday page, but to answer some questions, if you've read "the book", you will know that Andre can sing because as a boy he sang in the church choir & in some of his videos you can see & hear him singing too.As for the instruments he "can't play", the ones he has mentioned he can play is piano, tho not well,and for many years he played a recorder, and even the oboe for awhile.That is all I have heard him mention. And for dance, I have seen him dance although I think he says he does not dance well, but it looks ok to me. I think he could pretty well do anything he made up his mind to do.
