Andre Rieu & ANTO

The Austrian National Tourist Office (ANTO) welcomed Andre Rieu and his dancing debutantes on his Australian tour last Friday, with a Viennese performance for the industry.
“I felt very privileged that to be able to host travel industry colleagues to enjoy a Viennese performance of world record breaking proportions right here in Sydney,” said Astrid Mulholland-Licht, ANTO Director Australia/New Zealand.
“Andre Rieu is the best selling Artist in Australia, and has been for the last two years. He is a phenomenon down under and people have embraced his love for the Viennese Waltz and our capital City Vienna.
“During his World Tour close to 300,000 Australians will have watched his concerts featuring a life size replica of Schoenbrunn Palace, the Johann Strauss Orchestra, Viennese Debutantes and Dancers from the Vienna State Opera,” she adds.

In conjunction with Tempo, ANTO awarded two lucky agents from Sydney and two lucky agents from Melbourne with double passes for Mr Rieu’s World Stadium Tour shows in their corresponding cities.
For those who missed out on the tickets, ANTO is still offering two promotions to help agents see the real Schönbrunn Palace in Vienna, with one option of winning a package of business class flights and seven nights’ accommodation, and the second being free tickets to a “Strauss & Mozart Concert” for every Austrian package booked with Tempo Holidays.

Lucky People got to have a party with Andre Rieu! Makes sense. His castle stage and World Stadium Tour are good for the Austrian Tour Industry.
I'd like to go, wouldn't you?
Yes, I would love to go!
Yeah, I consider anyone who is able to afford the meet André as being fortunate. He's done so much in bringing beautiful music to the people of all countries. To be able to meet him and thank him would be a happy moment. To shake the hand of the man who brings such joy to so many, would be a happy moment too.
Unfortunately, meeting André is becoming less and less of a reality for the average working person.
