Andre Rieu 30 Years On Stage Koln 2009
The concert is titled "30-year anniversary on stage. There are so many well-known titles and little new - but it was very beautiful.

Some of the songs André did was Song of The Volga, Hor Ich Zimbalklange, Time To Say Goodbye" sung by Mirusia, The Blue Danube, Ach I have a Pain In My Heart sung by The Platin Tenors, the JSO women did the Clog dance while the men partied afterwards. There were many more songs, the English titles I cannot tell you unfortunately.

I share my words with you and my pictures.

Many Greetings,
Gisela

I hope your wish comes true Jean!
I never get enough words and pictures about André and the JSO, his concerts and all the happenings of the concerts.
Thanks Gisela for all the wonderful pictures and the words about André's 30 years Anniversary on stage!
It's been a while since my last concert and it's going to be a while yet before the next one, so anything and everything I read is with anticipation and excitement!
the pictures are beautiful, and iam really happy, in june i will be in vancouver to help celebrate the 30 year anniverary with andre, i will remember it for the rest of mylife. elaine burch.
Thank you Gisela. Your report is wonderful and the photographs are beautiful. Carmen's orange dress is something. She has such a good voice. I enjoy watching her perform and I love the clog dance. Andre seemed to be having good fun.
And a Thank you to Jeanine Ann for bringing this story to us.
The one thing that has surprised me, apart from being 'in awe' of the whole experience at his concerts, is the fact that he does not mind photos being taken, I could have kicked myself when i found out!
Did not take the Camera in to the ISS DOME is Dusseldorf, left it in the car, what a mistake!
In the UK you would be marched out fo the building or have the camera taken off you at some concerts!
Dusseldorf was our 'first' it WILL NOT be the last
Steve, I believe the very fact that we can all take photos at Andre's concerts spreads the word and keeps up the interest in him & his orchestra. Seeing others' photos of his concerts just makes you want to go again & again & keeps up the anticipation!
Hi Denise, I have to agree with that!
and I'm still kicking myself for not be able to get any in Dusseldorf, I took some on the phone, but they are rubbish
Gonna have to wait for the next one in Saarbrucken in September I suppose
