In April of 2009, André Rieu and his Johann Strauss Orchestra will begin their North American Tour in Toronto, going on to play thirty-five cities across Canada and the United States. As part of this tour, André Rieu and the Johann Strauss Orchestra will be appearing at Wells Fargo Arena.

A Dutch violinist, conductor and showman, Rieu believes that everyone can enjoy classical music. Rieu has sold more than 25 million albums worldwide, eleven of his albums having gone gold or platinum. In April 2008, Rieu topped the Australian charts for the No. 1 album.

      Not true Jock - Carmen is still with Andre as yet. Her agenda has her with Andre up to the Tokyo Concerts. She has some engagements then in her native Brazil but these are in between the dates of the US/Canada tour so I am sure she will be on that tour and back in Australia later in the year.
