Can You Help A Fire Victim?


The following is a letter from Diana Height from Australia.  When I read her story I contacted her immediately and told her we may be able to help her Mom replace her precious collection of André Rieu DVD's and CD's.  If any of you can help please post only your name on the blog and which DVD or CD you can replace.  I will email you and give her Mom's address to you.  I will start the help project by replacing "Live in Australia" and "Dancing Through The Skies" (Dresden).  I know it may be impossible to replace everything but I know that whatever we do will be most appreciated.  Thank you in advance for anything you can do to help.


.On the subject of the bushfires:  The cruel loss of so many lives in Victoria is very tragic indeed and our thoughts and prayers are with all the families, businesses and individuals affected by this disaster.  On the 13th January we experienced a fire in our own backyard here in Port Lincoln and my shed and carport were burned, and my mother, Johanna lost her house completely (including all her precious Andre Rieu collection), leaving only with her dog Bimba and her grandson Marko.  So we know well of the grief of losing all you own.

It is wonderful that you and fans are so generous with your time and abilities to organize things for others.  You are to be very highly commended, and on behalf of those that have been affected by the hardship of losing all they own, I know that your actions will be very well received.

            If you have PAL DVD's please be sure the extras you have are PAL, not NTSC.  If we must change the list please let me know.  I have some of both.  The two I am donating are PAL because I have an all region player and order either one or whichever comes out first. 

            Anyone who said they would donate an extra DVD and it is NTSC please post here and you can either donate a PAL if you have one or donate an extra CD.
