André Rieu To Appear on Neighbours

For our Australian fans : André Rieu waltzes into Ramsay Street

On April 6th André Rieu will waltz across your screen as he plays a guest part in the Australian soap Neighbours. The waltzing episode will air first on TEN in Australia, then the rest of the world will follow.

In a whimsical, romantic scene, André plays the violin for Paul (Stefan Denis) and Rebecca (Jane Hall) in the middle of Ramsay Street. André was asked to play a guest part by one of the soaps producers after visiting a show in Melbourne last November.

“I especially made a medley for the Australian tour including the tune from Neighbours. I didn’t know the show to be honest, but my orchestra was enthusiastic right away. Then one thing lead to another,” said André.
