André Rieu Launches U.S.A. And Canada Tour
New York, April 9, 2009 /PRNewswire/ — André Rieu, the most successful classical artist in the world, will embark on a 35-city concert tour throughout the U.S. and Canada starting April 17th in Toronto at the Air Canada Centre. The 12,000 capacity arena is one of the largest in Canada and is almost sold-out. Together with his 60-piece Johan Strauss Orchestra, the music aficionado tours on five continents, performing to more than 700,000 fans annually around the world. Billboard Magazine named Rieu the number one classical artist in the United States for 2008. Hi all fans of Andre Rieu and his wonderful performers. I am in the Toronto area and I did not see Andre this time. My friend took me in April to see The Sound of Music in Toronto at the same time. It was lovely!
I find now that although I still love and admire Andre's music, I have so many of his CD's that all I have to do is put in one and there I am in the front row!
I have had the oportunity to see Andre twice in concert and to me that is enough for now. A dear sweet man who loves what he does.
Still a beloved fan I encourage Andre to keep the music going in all avenues be it concerts, CD's DVD's, television, etc.

My daughter,granddaughter and I attended the concert in Reading,Pa. on April 27th. It was our 3rd.concert and was the best ever. We usually attend the one in Cleveland. This one we received Meet and Greet Passes. We meet Els and Diana,violinists. They were so adorable and lovely. Andre was just absolutely super and great. God Bless him and his troupe of people. We thought this was the warmest and friendliest concert we have attended.
