MY DREAM BECOMES REALITY - ESTER & FRANK STEIJNS
My dream became reality once and it's going to become reality twice.
I am Brazilian from the northeast region
far from the greatest cultural centers in the country.
I am an Andre Rieu Fan since 2004. I bought already 19 DVDs and I have watched them, at least 5 times, each. I love his music, and my favorite one is the Second Waltz and All the DVDs are wonderful but my favorite is Andre Rieu at Schönbrunn because I fall in love for Vienna. I love the guy singing Blue Danube. It's great!
Last July, my dream became reality when I went to watch Andre Rieu Concert in Maastricht. I went with my family. We organized a small tour through Europe in a way to arrive in Maastricht on July 6th, the great day. How wonderful! There is no words to describe the atmosphere, the people's happiness, the large crowd enjoying in Vrijthof. A real party! We enjoyed every minute that day, watching the musician's training in the afternoon, sharing our happiness with other people and tourists from various countries. Oh! We met Brazilians too.
The concert was wonderful. I will never forget that night. It was unique.
We met Carla Maffioletti, my muse, and Frank Steijns, my favorite JSO Member. Carla is a very nice girl and Frank is like an old friend. Both are very nice and friendly. I took photos with her and with Frank Steijns . I love the DVD "Live in Maastricht (1)" where Frank plays the bell. I loved meeting them and talking to them.
I thank God who gave me this precious opportunity. I am a privileged person to have achieved this blessing. How many people hope that, but they can't!
That was an event that marked our family's life. Besides Andre's magnificent performance, his orchestra, chorus and soloists, there were the photos and memories about chats with Carla Maffioletti and Frank.
After that experience I hope to realize another dream: to go back to Maastricht again. I think the city is waiting for me: "It's very beautiful !!!!". So, I didn't buy the plane tickets yet, but I already bought the concert tickets on July 12th, 2009 in Maastricht again. See you there!

I enjoyed seeing your Dream Come True. I love how friendly the JSO members are.
If a person loves Andre Rieu's music I'm sure this person is happy, very happy. I think it's the secret of JSO' members and of all his fanclub.
I agree Ester. There are only a handful of people who can listen to Andre's music and not be happy. All us other millions hear the notes and become happy, dance, sing, sway, and make friends.
My dear friends, I went to Maastricht for the second time but I didn´t meet Frank this time. I saw him only on the stage . Someone said me he was on a wheelchair with a broken leg. Is it true? That's a pity! I'd like to have taken other pictures with him!
