The region of South Holland Islands Tourist organizes on Thursday,December 17, 2009 a bus trip to the Christmas concert of André Rieu in the Sportpaleis in Antwerp. Andre Rieu, who knows him? Millions of people around the world have already enjoyed his concerts.
With Andre Rieu there is no solemn atmosphere, but all sway and sing along with familiar tunes in this concert and of course many famous Christmas songs. As with every tourist bus trip, there are several boarding places in your area.

I saw the performance of Dresden, and at the Maestro's home Maastricht, wonderful, exciting, and a learning experience for me.
The Barber of Seville, at Dresden, was out of this world, and would have taken many hours of rehearsal, just to sing this Aria, is not easy, but the soloist just took it all in his stride, WHO IS THE PRODUCER OF THE PERFORMANCE'S. I would like to know how the Maestro contacts his orchestra, sometimes I think he does it with his head, and how long does the orchestra practice, the key chains, are so quick? Anyone know.
The singing of Ave Maria by the Brisbane soloist, was wonderful, and the 13year old trumpeter, WOW!!!!!. The quality of tone was outstanding, and then the Orchestra Trumpeters joined her, and once again, the tone and pitch was so very close from all of them.
I would still like them to do the Flower Duet from Lakme in their Australian tour. Now I have a problem, in Brisbane, there is still from row seats left, at a price of course, of AU$1,5000, this includes a package deal, but unfortunely as a Pensioner I cannot afford it, I still can get seats in the GODS, on the side, which I am not prepared to buy, because I have lived with this kind of music all my life, and as an Principal Operatic Singer, I will not buy. So.........if anyone knows if there are seats in A RESERVE, that might be able to buy, can you Please advise me, through the Webmaster.

Dresden was beautiful, and Morschi Franz did a great job on his songs.I would think Andre is his own producer, don't know for sure though. The "Flower duet", has Andre done that one anywhere else except Tuscany?I guess it was really a trio there though, but what a beautiful version the girls did. June, I hope you find some good seats.
