She is going to make one very beautiful flower girl at her parents wedding on the 10/10/10.

FROM THE DEEPEST DEPTHS OF DESPAIR ON MONDAY NOV 16 BEGAN A WEEK THAT WOULD ENCOMPASS SO MANY EMOTIONS AND ENDED UP AS THE MOST WONDERFUL JOYFUL Day of OUR LIVES.
Monday November 16 - in hospital to have a growth removed
Tuesday November 17 - home sick, sore and sorry for myself
Wednesday November 18 - phone call from the Oncologist. It was malignant cancer, but caught early it's all been removed and with only a 10% chance of regrowing. Weight taken off our heavy shoulders. Tears of relief flow. Thank you Lord. Thank you Dr Miller.
Thursday 19 morning Son Andrew calls to say his fiance' Dani has just been taken to hospital as bub is due. All day they try to induce, by 9.30 that night a C section was decided upon. At 10.52 p. on November 19, Ella Marie Freeman made her regal entrance into the arms of her very proud Daddy Andrew.
She weighed in at 7lb 7oz, with a mop of her Daddy's thick black silken hair, big blue eyes, Dad's ears, sharp long firm nails, all courtesy of the Freeman clan. Not to be outdone, She is sooo placid and beautiful just like Mummy.
Ella was born on the hottest day on record for November in Adelaide when it reached 42.8o. On the day she left the hospital, 5 days after her birth, Berri (where the hotel is located) and surrounding Riverland towns, were decimated by violent storms and gale force winds, something the Riverland could do without, as they are losing so many grape vines and citrus crops through the lack of water from the Murray River, which is getting desperately down in water.
Friday 20, We made the 4 1/2 hr trek in searing heat to meet Ella, our very first Grandchild, that afternoon after her birth. It didn't take long for Grandpa to relieve the cuddling duties from Andrew and before I knew it, I was lost in a fog of love, as I held our littlest Angel in my arms. Someone so precious and already so dearly loved, being handed around the room for those most sought after hugs and cuddles, whilst she spent the whole time sleeping or making the sweetest little mewing sounds.
Saturday 21. Late morning saw us back at the hospital for our final hugs and cuddles before returning back to Adelaide. This gave us the first opportunity of seeing her with her big deep blue eyes open. Still barely a mew out of her cupid bowed lips. She is just so placid and quiet
Mid afternoon saw us wending our way back home, a trip that brought us so much joy, although, by the time we got back home I was in chronic pain, as it was a trip taken too soon after surgery, hence my lack of reports and then spent most of the next week or more in bed. But would have I missed out on those precious moment and memories? Not in a life time.
Ella Marie will be with us for Christmas lunch, where I will introduce her to Andrè. Can't start them too young.
From her 2 very proud Grandparents Nanna Lyndall and Grandpa Robert

GOOD NEWS REGARDING THE FORGOTTEN TAPESTRY
GOOD NEWS REGARDING THE FORGOTTEN TAPESTRY
As reported in an earlier report, I'd mentioned one of my Friendship Group members, Margaret, after presenting the tapestry to Andrè, which was subsequently handed over to Kerstin to keep in her care, was inadvertently left back at the Entertainment Centre. It was fortunate that an astute and trustworthy cleaner found the bag and gave it to management, who, in turn, contacted Margaret. As you would imagine, Margaret was deeply distressed and upset by all this.
As it turns out, Kerstin saw my notice and actually rang Margaret from Maastricht and they have worked out a successful way for Margaret to safely send it to Maastricht, at AR Management cost. Margaret's only stipulation was that once it was received in the Maastricht office, she is given the recognition she so rightly deserves.
I will keep you posted on any further news we may get through all of this in coming weeks.

On Margaret's behalf I would most sincerely thank Kerstin for reading this site and taken notice of the stories written and from there taken up the cause of the waylaid tapestry. As the president of the Sth Australian Andre Rieu Friendship Group,I can let you know that our Group were most upset for Margaret and dismayed that this had happened to one of our members. I know they will be just as heartened when they hear her good news. So Kerstin on their behalf, as well as Rob and mine, I say a very big thank you for taking this on board and doing something about it quickly. It is very much appreciated.
