Andre Rieu Booked For 2010

Andre Rieu has a busy year ahead of him.  Currently he is performing a set of dates in South Africa & Austria in between numerous TV & Radio interviews.  And that’s not all for Andre!  He has live shows booked straight through to January2011, and he’s also on the verge of releasing his new album.  For personal updates from Andre,  you can perch out on his official Twitter page!!

Andre Rieu will be performing a 10-city US tour this June 2010.  For the first leg of his US dates,  Rieu will stay along the eastern coast with two dates reaching Canada.  His first performance takes place June18th at Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, NY.  After a month in the States, he heads across the Atlantic to the Netherlands, UK, and Ireland before making the trek to Australia and New Zealand in August. 

As 2010 comes to a close, Andre Rieu tickets will be available again for his return to the US in November for a small stint of dates, so he can do it all over in the coming year.  On Andre's official website you can find all these dates.                   

Andre Rieu is a Dutch violinist, conductor, and composer that performs with his Johann Strauss Orchestra.  He has received international acclaim for his revival of waltz music.

Andre Rieu is a Dutch violinist, conductor, and composer best known for creating an international revitalizing waltz music with his “Johann Strauss Orchestra.”

Rieu was born into a musical family and began studying violin at age five. Later in life, he studied violin at the Conservatoire Royal in Liège and in the Conservatorium Maastricht.  From 1974 to 1977, he attended the Music Academy in Brussels.

Rieu is on tour throughout the U.S. between now and late June
