SA fans that have been following the recent news of André Rieu's cancellation of tour dates in Australia and Europe need not be concerned.
The King of Waltz will return to South Africa in March 2011.
The Cape Town leg of the tour that involved a planned outdoor concert on the Cape Town Grand Parade on 26 March 2011 has been replaced by two in-door arena shows on 11 and 12 March 2011 at the GrandWest's Grand Arena, the same venue he performed his sell-out tour in earlier this year.
Fans who have already bought tickets for the Cape Town Grand Parade performance will have the option to exchange their tickets for one of the arena dates, or receive a full refund via Computicket.
"All ticket holders to the Cape Town Parade Show will have the option extended to them to exchange or be refunded in the following weeks. The Durban and Sun City performances will remain as scheduled. We regret any inconvenience caused due the unforeseen date and subsequent venue change in Cape Town, but we would like to assure fans that his trademark magical stage and performance will be everything they have grown to expect from André Rieu and the Johann Strauss Orchestra", says Sam Hendrikse, CEO of Hunta Live.
For many fans that have missed out on early bookings, the additional Cape Town date(s) will mean another opportunity to get tickets to see classical music's brightest star perform live in the Mother City.
The chart-topping Dutch violinist and conductor has sold over 30 million albums globally, and has broken all classical concert records, packing stadiums with over 700,000 adoring fans each year. He has sold over 300,000 DVD's in South Africa alone, earning him a special award from Universal Records in recognition of this multi-platinum status.

23 March 2011: Durban, ICC
26 March 2011: Cape Town Grand Parade CHANGED TO:
11 and 12 March 2011: Cape Town, Grand Arena, GrandWest (NEW VENUE AND DATES)
Ticket bookings, exchanges and refunds for the Cape Town performance(s) are now open via Computicket (www.computicket.com or on 083 915 8000) and outlets countrywide.

este ano não teve muitos comentários do aniversário de André rieu no livro eu acho que ele cancelor tadas as mensagens do dia 01/10 do Brasil não teve nenhum o que esta acontecendo com nosso André rieu eu passei uma mensagem para ele e não vi o meu nome lá no dia 01/10 vou esperar até odia 02/10
