Andre Rieu Announces Rescheduled Tour Dates 2010 - 2011

Andre Rieu has announced details of his rescheduled UK & Irelandtour, which were canceled last month due to illness.
The world renowned classical violinist will return to the UK in April2011 to play his shows in Newcastle, London, Manchester and Birmingham,along with the Dublin and Belfast performances.
Recovering from his illness at his home in Maastricht, the 'King ofWaltz' Andre Rieu said "I am so thrilled and excited to finally be ableto play in the UK & Ireland in April. I look forward to the mostamazing concerts! Thank you all for your support and love, it has beenthe best medicine for my recovery! See you in April & May!"
Andre Rieu Tour Dates are as follows:
Tue 19th Apr 2011 - Metro Radio Arena, Newcastle
Wed 20th Apr 2011 - The O2 Arena, London
Thu 21st Apr 2011 - Evening News Arena, Manchester
Fri 22nd Apr 2011 - LG Arena, Birmingham
Tue 26th Apr 2011 - The O2, Dublin
Wed 27th Apr 2011 - Odyssey Arena, Belfast
Rieu has also rearranged his postponed dates down under for May 2011.The European tour, which kicks off in Belgium on November 18th, areunaffected and will go ahead as normal.
Tickets are on sale now for the rescheduled shows, priced from £45.80.Tickets for the original shows are still valid.

Andre Rieu announces new NZ tour dates
Dutch violinist Andre Rieu has announced new New Zealand tour dates to replace those he was forced to cancel after suffering an illness.
Rieu suffered a viral infection of the vestibular nerve which left him unable to carry out his tour commitments in Australia and New Zealand. He said he was "heartbroken" about not being able to make it.
But a press release issued today announced the cancelled October dates would be replaced with new shows in May next year.
"I am so thrilled and excited to be able to come back to Australia and New Zealand in May," Rieu said in the statement. "I look forward to the most amazing concerts. Thank you all for your support and love, it has been the best medicine for my recovery. See you in May."
The Seekers will join Rieu for the tour, as well as the Johann Strauss Orchestra.
Tickets for the cancelled shows will be automatically transferred to the new dates.

May 8: CBS Canterbury Arena, Christchurch (replaces October 24)
