Andre Rieu resumes rehearsals - November 1, 2010
Andre Rieu starts rehearsing again Monday, November 1. The Maastricht violinist has been ill for some time. He suffered from a viral infection.
On November 18, he will again be in the Sportpaleis in Antwerp. Because of Rieu's disease several performances had to be canceled. Concerts in the Amsterdam Arena and the Thialf stadium in Heerenveen did not occur. These performances will be made up next year.
(These are the best words we could have heard today!)
This IS the best news! Dear Andre, it is so good to hear you are well enough to begin rehearsals for you Antwerp trip.

Thank God, this news is better than winning The Melbourne Cup, & your photo too I do remember that one as I commented on the silent advertising for Dell , that as an add is worth a fortune to them when you think about it, eh Jeanine Ann; I'm so happy Himself is getting back to rehearsing, thats a very good sign ;;;

This is good news. Have you heard anything about Andre's USA concerts? They are only a few weeks away. Can't wait to attend my first concert.

This is really fantastic news!!!
I went to that promo page that Bill mentioned last night, and one thing led to another and I now have my Seattle concert tickets! I'm very very happy that I now have my tickets. I was concerned for awhile, not only whether or not I could afford them, but also that there was even going to be a concert.
I can't tell you how happy I am that Andre and the JSO is back and preparing and rehearsing for the concerts.
There are very few people in life, aside from family and close friends, who affect you enormously. Andre is one of these people. I believe that his music and his personality towards people and how he can make them happy with his music, all seem to touch a special place in our hearts and minds. Andre is very special indeed.
