André Rieu Confirms Christchurch Show Will go Ahead
CHRISTCHURCH, New Zealand, Apr. 16
André Rieu has confirmed that his show, scheduled to take place in Christchurch on 8th May at CBS Canterbury Arena, will definitely be going ahead.
The large tour party was originally booked to stay in the CBD, but following February's earthquake it has taken some time to find alternative accommodation. This issue has now been resolved and André is thrilled he is be able to bring his magical show to the people of Christchurch for the first time.
The Seekers will still be joining André on stage for the full tour and will be performing their biggest hits and most loved songs with the backing of the Johann Strauss Orchestra.
Tickets to both the Auckland and Christchurch shows are still available via Ticketmaster and Ticketek respectively.

I've just returned to Adelaide, after visiting my son interstate. Now it's time to catch up on the world of Andre. It feels like I've been away for months not a fortnight.
Wonderful news that the Great Man is still going to perform in earthquake ravaged Christchurch NZ. They are still experiencing major aftershocks, so here's hoping all will go well.
Jeanine Ann, thanks for the story on "The Seekers". Doesn't it do your heart good to see Judith Durham and know that we "little people" look soooo good against the Meastro.

Enjoyed Andre's Sydney concert last night. The Seekers were fabulous and the feeling of the whole thing just superb.
However, I feel VERY sorry for the third soprano who was not introduced in Sydney last time (see the Sydney DVD) and she was ignored again last night!!! Andre introduced the Platin tenors and then Mirusia and Kimmy but not the other lady. Please Andre, do not ignore her, she is lovely, tell us her name please!!!
