André Rieu Wants A Break Through

Amsterdam – The fans of André Rieu(61) have known for a very
long time who Mirusia Louwerse(26) is. This Australian beauty’s voice has been
heard at many of André Rieu’s world renown concerts. Enthusiast: “ Mirusia has
an enormous talent. It is not strange that Rieu works with her throughout the
world. It has become time for the Netherlands to become more acquainted with
her. For that reason I am busy with a tour through Vlaandere and the
Netherlands. It is my intention that Mirusia will be standing in the concert
hall around Christmas time, the place where she belongs.”
Around Christmas Mirusia together with André, to whom she owes
a lot, will be standing in the Amsterdam concert hall.
With her unique angel voice, Mirusia has won many awards. Juri:
“ In June 2006 she was the youngest person in history to win the prestigious
Joan Sutherland Opera Award. Many prominent awards followed. In 2008 she met
André Rieu and was on stage with him during the World Stadium Tour. Mirusia
travels all over the world with this huge logistical operation. She enchanted
hundreds and thousands of people with her fairytale appearance. During the same
year, in May, she recorded an album, Waltzing Matilda, together with André Rieu.
It reached platinum status within 10 days in Australia.”
“In 2009 a series of successes followed. During this year four
DVD’s and four CD’s of André Rieu were released and Mirusia had a great share in
each one of them. And in December 2010 the album ‘Always And Forever’ was
released with some of her favorite recordings together with the Johann Strauss
Orchestra. In Australia this album became number 1 on the classical hits for
many weeks and even appeared in the Pop Top 20 Charts. It now has become time
that Mirusia concentrates further on her solo career, and the premier will take
place later this year in our country.”

Mirusia does have a beautiful voice,also amazing good looks, she deserves to go far with her voice she has said as far back as she can remember all she wanted in life was to sing; but what about love & babies? these too are important, if she stays with Andre she can have her cake & eat it too ????
It was really an amazing experience in Maastricht at July 15th, when my wife and myself for the first time joined the concert !!
is there any chance to receive an information whether and where it will be possible to buy a copy of the video which has been made during the concert ??
at least I thought that there will be a video, due to the fact that we recognized some profi filming team during the concert

A most enjoyable experience. I have been a semi-pro musician all my life. I came under the spell of Andre's music and his presentation of it some years ago. We travelled from Ireland as this was a birthday present from my wife and what a present. We both enjoyed the concert and the athmosphere was wonderful.
