Preparing For The Andre Rieu Christmas DVD

After a relaxing holiday we started again with the rehearsals and recordings for our new cd 'The Waltz goes on'. It will be a fantastic cd, not only with world-famous waltzes you all know, but also some brand new waltzes written by Andre himself.. and of course the new waltz by Sir Anthony Hopkins!
If you wonder what a Christmas tree is doing in our studio: we are also working on a new Christmas album! Yesterday, two of our orchestra ladies, Nadia and Nathalie, were leaving for maternity leave. We wish you all the best, see you soon again!

Andre created a true Winter Wonder Land here in Maastricht. Over 30 degrees Celsius in the shadow… the hottest day of Summer here in Maastricht… and we are recording a Christmas concert in the snow!! This is literally one of the most wonderful recordings.
Oh wow, this is so cool!! Thank you sweet JEANINE ANN. I cannot wait for this DVD. They all seem so happy to be back and André is such a genius- snow in the middle of summer! Oh and that red sports jacket. Oh my, Oh my!!!

This is great it must funny to them all with snow in the middle of summer, can't wait for the DVD this will be going on my xmas list when people ask. No doubt we will be informed here on this great blog when the release will be. Hugs and luv Ruth

Hi everyone, looks like the Christmas DVD is going to be super, cant wait to buy it. I went yesterday to see the Cinema recording of the Maastrict concert, it was truly delightful, enjoyed every minute of it and didnt want it to end. xx Margaret
