Thank you Dierdré for this post, it is nice to hear soething about André , which draws us personally more to our hearts, like liking Top Gear a favorite programme of my son in laws and taking the dogs for a walk and Sunday afternoon with the grandchildren and falling to sleep whilst reading hugs Margaret xx

The krepkes endive that Andre refers to is a very heave dish with meat, endive, bacon, etc. He published the recipe and there is also a video of him making it. Nothing to do with crepes or flapjacks.

Thank you Virginia, André loves cooking up a storm in the kitchen. A very interesting man with good taste for books and music. I too take a power nap sometimes and it really works for me, I do not need a lot of sleep when I am tired.It is such fun working on André related articles. Deirdré (South Africa)

Thanks for this Deirdre. I agree with quite a few of Andre's choices. Especially the Italian food and the chocolates. The motto I whole heartedly agree with.
I love the picture. Andre mowing the lawn in his best Sunday Go to Meeting Clothes. Never scruffy or untidy. My type of man.

My kind of Man too I wish, I think the bit where André cooks is on Live In Sydney 2009 He cooks on the today show you could go to Nine MSN click on today, but I also think this segment may be on UTUBE, not sure either if you need to prefix today with www.Nine msn/today. au;play with google it will find it for you also a piece on The morning show where Andre' is conned into toast & vegemite most definitely an Aussie taste , poor Dear Andre'

My way of relaxing: Just like Andre I can sleep anywhere and any time and after a short while I feel totally refreshed.
Book: As Andre I do not have time to read a lot and also fell asleep after reading even one page!
